According to police, an unknown shooter fired shots from the outside of a home in the area. The three victims, a 30-year-old man, 35-year-old woman and another woman whose age is unknown were inside the home at the time and struck by the gunfire, police say. According to police, a 23-year-old man pulled out a weapon during an argument with two other people in the area. Police say after he pulled out the weapon the situation escalated with a struggle between him, another 23-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman. Two of the victims were taken to a hospital and listed in temporary serious condition. Anyone with information is asked to call the Detroit police at 313-596-1140.

Detroit police say at about 2:50 a.m. the three men were outside of a business in the 40 block of E. Milwaukee Avenue when the alleged shooter got into an argument with one of the men and began firing shots. All three men were taken to the hospital and listed in stable condition, according to authorities. Police say the suspected shooter is described as a man in his 20s, standing 5 feet, 8 inches tall with a slim build and short haircut.
