CBS All Access, Showtime and BET+ now have nearly 30 million subscribers, some of who will shift to Paramount+. ViacomCBS said some of the studio’s films, including “Mission: Impossible 7” and “A Quiet Place Part II,” will go to its fledgling streaming service, Paramount+, after 45 days in theaters. “If they want to act like a second tier streaming service, they're doing a fantastic job."

The comedian made the announcement early Friday morning via an Instagram post titled “Redemption Song,” a standup set that is 10 minutes long. Netflix started airing the show on Nov. 1 but pulled it after Chappelle shared with the public that Comedy Central and ViacomCBS had licensed the show without any additional payments going to him. In November, Chappelle also spoke about the situation during a standup set shared to Instagram. He said that he demanded the network pay him for his work and he has now been paid millions of dollars.

Norah O'Donnell will anchor her first presidential election night, joined on the set by Gayle King, Margaret Brennan, John Dickerson and Ed O'Keefe. Shades will be drawn on the windows for the serious business of election night. On television, CBS will have Major Garrett reporting on voter integrity, Jeff Pegues on misinformation and Nancy Cordes on congressional races.

CBS was one of the first media companies to launch its own streaming service. Paramount Plus enters an increasingly crowded field. Disney last year launched its $7-a-month Disney Plus service.

The danger is that those groups get confused with other self-identified Israelites like (Rabbi) Capers Funnye, who has a congregation in Chicago, and who is very much involved with the Ashkenazim Jewish community. Until his firing, Cannon produced Wild n Out, a comedy improv series for VH1, the ViacomCBS-owned cable channel. Cooper said that Cannon should reject Farrakhans hate speech and reduce the long statement to two sentences a simple apology. First of all, apologizing to the Jewish community for questioning our identity, Cooper said.

It is terminating its relationship with Cannon, ViacomCBS said. We have spoken with Nick Cannon about an episode of his podcast Cannons Class on YouTube, which promoted hateful speech and spread anti-Semitic conspiracy theories, ViacomCBS said. As controversy over his podcast began to bubble up Monday, Cannon replied in a Facebook post.
