For "Breaking Bad" and "Downton Abbey," it turns out "The end" wasn't. (CNN) - The big question for "El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie" is whether it justifies returning to a series whose finish, if not completely closed-ended, was wholly satisfying. As with "Downton Abbey," this "Breaking Bad" revival stems more from a desire to capitalize on a beloved property -- the very definition of a "You might also like" suggestion -- than the creative spark that the show regularly delivered. That's hardly a crime, as these things go, but "El Camino" nevertheless plays more like the generic version of "Breaking Bad" than a full-strength dose of it. "El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie" is playing on Netflix and in select theaters.

Mitte, and Bob Odenkirk speak onstage during the 'Breaking Bad' panel discussion at the AMC portion of the 2013(CNN) - After months of swirling rumors and teases for a "Breaking Bad" movie, Netflix released the film's trailer Saturday. "El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie" will be available on the streaming service October 11. The sequel will pick up shortly after the series finale, which aired six years ago on AMC, and it should answer the cliffhanger "What happened to Jesse Pinkman?" Series creator Vince Gilligan wrote and directed the movie. As the trailer ends, he says, "No way I'm helping you people put Jesse Pinkman back inside a cage."

Fans got so excited when it was revealed there was a "Breaking Bad" movie in the works, and it looks like it could be coming a lot sooner than we thought. Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul, aka Walter White and Jesse Pinkman, recently shared a photo on Instagram and it looks a little suspicious. Related: A "Breaking Bad" movie is in the worksOnly a week ago, Cranston and Paul each shared a photo of two mules with the caption "Soon," so it's safe to say this movie is in full throttle. The question on everyone's mind is how Walter White will be involved in the movie. Of course, there are plenty of fan theories lurking on the internet that Walter White really isn't a dead, and hey, maybe they're true.
