Known Agenda ran away from the field in the Florida Derby on Saturday, and might keep on going all the way to Churchill Downs to start the Triple Crown season. Pletcher won the Florida Derby for a record sixth time, and Known Agenda covered the 1 1/8 miles on the dirt in 1 minutes, 49.45 seconds. Read full article: NHL investigating ex-Panthers GM for alleged racial commentsThe NHL is investigating whether former Florida Panthers general manager Dale Tallon made racially insensitive comments during the team's two-week stay in the playoff hub city of Toronto. NHL deputy commissioner Bill Daly confirmed the investigation to The Associated Press on Friday. The publication cited a unidentified person in reporting Tallon used racially charged language during the Panthers' time in the Eastern Conference's playoff hub. After 10 years with the Panthers, Tallon was let go Aug. 10 after Florida was eliminated by the New York Islanders. The investigation comes as the NHL postponed two days of playoff games to focus awareness on racial injustice issues.

And Roberto Luongo, the longtime Panthers goalie whose jersey was retired by the club earlier this year, is expected to remain with Florida. Luongo was brought on this season as a special advisor to Tallon, but is not believed to be a GM candidate. And if Quenneville turns the Panthers into a winner, once again Tallon will be watching from elsewhere.
