At this point, I don’t think we’ll see much in the way of snow shower activity on Christmas Eve Day. Temperatures will fall through the day Thursday, reaching the mid to upper 20s (-3 to -2 degrees Celsius) by late afternoon. Temperatures falling into the mid-teens (-8 degrees Celsius) by Christmas morning. Christmas Day itself will also be very interesting from a weather standpoint.

26-year-old Michigan man killed in single vehicle rollover crash

Police say the crash took place near Lapeer and Wales Center roads in Wales Township. The victim’s 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche was traveling eastbound on Lapeer when it went off the road into a ditch and rolled several times ending up on its wheels, police say. As a result the victim was ejected from the vehicle. The crash is still under investigation.

Now, having a RISK of severe storms does not always translate into GETTING those storms. Warm and muggy Wednesday night, with oppressively warm lows in the low to mid 70s (22 to 23 degrees Celsius). Highs near 80 degrees (27 degrees Celsius), and youll notice the drier air coming in during the afternoon! Becoming mostly clear Saturday night, with very comfortable lows in the mid 50s (13 to 14 degrees Celsius).
