I love art books and my background is in art education,” said Asmaa Walton. “A large part of exhibit is inviting people to appreciate Black art.”Walton called the collection Black Art Library. The Black Art Library runs until April 18 at MOCAD with strict social distancing guidelines in place.

Michigan State Police said the 40-year-old road worker, of Gladwin, Mich., was working on the road when a full-sized pickup truck hit him. Police do not consider alcohol and/or drugs to be a factor in the crash. The highway was shut down Thursday afternoon while police investigated.
