Shortstop Wander Franco and the Tampa Bay Rays have finalized an $182 million, 11-year contract that includes a club option for the 2033 season.

Sunday was the deadline for teams to submit player pools, although additions can be made later. Pitcher Brendan McKay and infielder Vidal Brujan, two other top Tampa Bay prospects, also made the pool. They are some of our more advanced prospects," Rays general manager Erik Neander said. He's in their player pool, along with Matt Manning, Tarik Skubal, Alex Faedo and Franklin Perez.

Detroit Detroit police are looking for the parents or guardians of a young boy found wondering in Detroit. The boy is approximately two-years-old. He was discovered around 11:20 Thursday night on the 11400 block of Portlance Avenue near the intersection of East McNichols and Outer Drive on the citys east side. Detroit police tell us the boy did not have any shoes on. If anyone recognizes this child or knows who his parents, or guardians are, have them go to Detroits 9th precinct or call (313)-596-5900.
