DETROIT – On a day when there’s a new development in the search for his killer, a vigil was held to remember Tai’raz Moore. The 6-year-old boy was shot execution style in the basement of a Warren home. A song of inspiration filled the Erma Henderson Park in Detroit as about 200 family and friends gathered Friday night to celebrate Tai’raz’s life. “It’s time for us to stand up and protect our babies,” said a friend of the family. Many people in Metro Detroit said the news of Tai’raz, his father and Rimson’s murders were sickening.

WARREN, Mich. – Police found a woman and a boy dead inside a Warren home while trying to notify the family of a man whose body was discovered in a burning car in Detroit. Warren officers went to the home before 11 a.m. Thursday in the area of Dequindre Road and Otis Avenue, police said. There was no answer at the home, but Warren police found the bodies of a woman and a body inside, according to authorities.

WARREN, Mich. – Police are investigating a possible double murder inside a Warren home, Local 4 has learned.
