The shooting happened at 7:47 p.m. Wednesday at McGuire’s Motor Inn on Telegraph Road in Waterford Township, police said. When officers arrived, they said they found a 21-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds. Detectives identified two suspects and provided that information to the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Apprehension Team. Police said the incident happened at the BP gas station at 4663 Walton Boulevard. The man pulled up, unlocked the front door, walked into the store and removed the change box from the employee’s side of the counter, according to authorities. He was wearing a blue jacket, light-colored pants, light-colored shoes and a multicolored winter hat, police said.
