The Storm Prediction Center upped the game tonight, placing parts of Metro Detroit under an Enhanced Risk (level 3) of severe thunderstorms.
On Wednesday, the skies will be mostly cloudy again, and we will still see a couple of rain showers from time to time as our high reaches 74 degrees.
Mother’s Day Sunday looks great. There will be lots of sunshine and pleasant temperatures, just a notch above what they should be this time of year. Highs will be near 70 degrees.
A Frost Advisory will be in effect from midnight until 9 a.m. Friday for much of Southeast Michigan, including Genesee, Lapeer, Sanilac, St. Clair, Livingston, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw and Lenawee counties.

The weekend is ending with near-normal weather, but temperatures will jump into the 70s again on Monday. The warmer weather will arrive with rain and gusty winds.
Take an umbrella or rain jacket on Easter, but the rain chances are not high enough to warrant changing outdoor plans.
