It happened in the 18900 block of West 7 Mile Road. A Good Samaritan transported the victim to a hospital. Officers arrived while the Samaritan was leaving the scene, so officer blocked traffic for the Samaritan. Police were not able to talk with the victim due to his condition.

Police say at around 11:45 p.m. a 26-year-old man was shot and killed amid an altercation with another man at a store in the 7400 block of 7 Mile Road. The shooter fled the scene, possibly in a light blue Cadillac Escalade, police said. He is described as a Black man wearing a white t-shirt and blue jean shorts. Police said the shooting happened on Monday at 10:30 p.m. at a gas station in the 20500 block of West 7 Mile Road. The suspect escaped in a 2017 Ford Focus that had damage on the rear of the vehicle. He was last seen wearing a black Nike short sleeve shirt, black shorts, and black and white gym shoes.
