A new initiative is looking to give hope and healing to those dealing with addiction and who don't know where to turn for help.

Investigators are still searching for what caused the fire.

The West Bloomfield Fire Department said a working smoke alarm helped alert and save a resident from a fire Thursday night at a home in the 700 block of Sweetbriar Street.
