DETROIT UPDATE: Officials say Ewing has been located and is safe. Detroit police are seeking assistance to locate a missing 30-year-old man last seen on May 10. Police say Christopher Ewing was last seen around 4 a.m. at his residence in the 19000 block of Westbrook Street. MORE: Local News

DETROIT – An investigation is underway on Detroit’s west side after a man was found Wednesday morning shot, bound with electrical cords and set on fire. It happened on Westbrook Street near Outer Drive. A resident told police they saw a car driving away shortly after the gun shots were fired. Police said the victim is a male. Police said the area will be shut down for an undetermined amount of time.
