Friends of “Live in the D” talk about how they view this point in the year

Friends of the show are here to talk about everything from jump scares to their frightening favorites.

Today is National Pet Day, and you know how much people like their pets. We invited some of our pet-owner friends to chat about cats, dogs, and all of the other furry companions that people have in their homes.

Should a child get an allowance for doing their chores, or getting good grades?

What is something that you love or dislike to eat during the holiday season?

Do you take separate vacations from your significant other, or only ones together?

Here we are at the start of August - where has the year gone? Is it too soon to start thinking about fall and going back to school? Today on “What’s the Buzz” we’re discussing some of the things that it may be “too soon” for.

Once again it is Monday and here on Live In D, we like to gather our friends and reflect on fun everyday issues we all face in our “What’s The Buzz” segment. For this “What’s The Buzz,” we tackled aging. It was a topic partly inspired by our very own Jason Carr, who just hit the milestone year of 50. Jason talked to friends of the show Mary Liz Curtain, owner of Three Cats Café in Clawson, Blaine Fowler, from The Blaine Fowler Morning show on 96.3 WDVD, and Jason Hall, from RideDetroit. We’re talking about what drives you crazy while driving on ‘What’s the Buzz.’ Joining Tati Amare and Jason Carr are Kila Peeples and Michelle Oliver from Live In The D.They started off with: Do you give people “the stare” if they mess up? Kila shared how she will give someone the stink eye if they misbehave on the road, and Jason thoroughly agreed, saying especially when someone merges in front of you going much slower than you were driving. Kila mentioned slow drivers really get on her nerves and she will say something if they are just crawling along. So, “What drives you crazy while driving?” We asked our Facebook fans that and they had a lot to say. Michelle shared some of them with the group, and you can read them all below.
