Four people are in police custody after shots were fired at Detroit police officers in their patrol car over the weekend.

One person has been taken into custody after shots were fired at deputies on Detroit’s east side, police said.

Authorities said three people have been rushed to the hospital after after being shot Wednesday night in Detroit.

A 9-year-old girl was injured overnight when a woman accidentally fired her gun as she was unloading it at a Detroit apartment, according to police.

The shooting happened about 11:15 p.m. at an apartment complex.

DETROIT – Friends and family members gathered Saturday night in Detroit near the intersection of King Richard Street and Whittier Avenue, just west of I-94, to remember and honor a 38-year-old woman killed Friday in a hit-and-run. According to authorities, a 38-year-old woman was struck just before 11 a.m. and the vehicle fled the location in an unknown direction. DETROIT Michigan State Police arrested a driver who was in a stolen vehicle in Detroit Sunday in the area of Interstate 94 and Van Dyke Road. Two other passengers in the stolen vehicle fled the scene, officials said. Police said a gun reported stolen was located in the vehicle. Michigan State Police arrested a driver in a stolen vehicle in Detroit on Sept. 6, 2020. A handgun reported stolen was also located in the vehicle.

DETROIT Police announced Monday that a teen who was shot during a quadruple shooting on July 19 has died over the weekend. The investigation later identified a man as a suspect in the quadruple shooting. The three men in the suspect vehicle immediately exited the vehicle after the crash. Chief Craig says police now believe at least one of the other two men involved in the chase on July 23 may have been involved in the quadruple shooting on July 19. Police also believe that the man who was shot who was suspected in the quadruple shooting may have been involved in other shootings, including one in Eastpointe.

They initiated a chase and the suspect’s vehicle collided with police cars during the pursuit. Craig said police found another gun in the suspect’s vehicle and believe at least one of the other two men in the car was involved in Sunday’s shooting. Police said the man they suspected in the house party shooting may have been involved in other shootings, including one in Eastpointe.

She then drove about 100 yards down the road to near the intersection of Houston Whittier Street and Hayes Street. Someone went to the Detroit Police Department’s 3rd Precinct and said they shot and killed someone. Detroit police are working to figure this out.
