Button said Hot Ones first reached out through Heatonist, a specialty store in Brooklyn, New York that carries 100 small-batch hot sauces from around the country. They were already carrying Hell Fire Detroit sauces, but suddenly reached out for an extra 12,000 bottles. “We asked why, and they told us they were considering us for Hot Ones,” Button said. Hell Fire Detroit sells their sauces direct from their website, or you can find them at local stores across Michigan.

Side Biscuit will open its own brick-and-mortar location at 1232 Packard St.ANN ARBOR, Mich. – After 10 months of feeding Ann Arbor as a pop-up, Side Biscuit is opening the doors to its own brick-and-mortar. Located on South Packard Street, the chicken wing and biscuit eatery will host its grand opening on Saturday, March 13. Wing flavors will include OG Buffalo, bbq, gochujang and Thai curry and rotating biscuit flavors such as elote and black sesame, said the release. AdBalduf has previously served as the executive chef at 327 Braun Court in Kerrytown and HOMES Brewery on the west side of Ann Arbor. Side Biscuit is at 1232 Packard St. at the corner of Packard Street and Woodlawn Avenue.

Inspired by the sounds of Motown, and a family recipe for BBQ Sauce, They Say started with a bang. Terry Payne and his family loved music, specifically the music that came out of the Motor City, and he wanted to celebrate that in the heart of Detroit. “Our feel here is kind of like, you know, a modern-day Cheers,” explains Tierra Payne, Terry’s Daughter and co-owner of the restaurants. The Los Angeles Sparks pulled out a close five-point win against the Dallas Sparks on Thursday. Last time these two teams met up the Wings handled the Sparks with a 12-point margin of victory. The Sparks trailed by as many as 16 points in the first half but exploded in a 24-9 run in the third quarter to take the lead. Nneka Ogwumike scored 22 points while her sis Chiney added 12 points and Chelsea Gray had 11 points and nine rebounds. Allisha Gray added 11 points while Imani McGee-Stafford contributed 9 points.

Atlanta Dream vs. Chicago Sky Preview (tip-off 12 p.m. EST)Coming off a win against the Dallas Wings, the Chicago Sky are looking to continue their three-game win streak in a noon battle against the Atlanta Dream. The Mercury hope for a much better outing than their first meeting with the Wings this season on June 20. Griner and Bonner were held to a combined 20 points as Phoenix shot 24.6 percent and was outrebounded 49-28. The Dallas Wings are looking to avoid a third straight loss as they square off with the Phoenix Mercury. Sims, meanwhile, totaled 20 points in those two contests.

Children with special needs and their families took flight Saturday at Oakland County International Airport. Dreams and Wings is a unique event that offers children with special needs a flight experience and new perspective.
