For this weeks “Music Monday” on “Live in the D” we’re getting you ready for a popular winter event happening in Downtown Royal Oak. The Winter Blast presented by Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort kicks off this weekend, and in edition to ice skating, food trucks and more, the event will feature 40 local musical acts.

The event was scheduled for Feb. 3 through Feb. 5, 2023, but predicted frigid temperatures caused organizers to postpone. Winter Blast Royal Oak will now be held downtown from Feb. 17 through Feb. 19, 2023.

Winter Blast Royal Oak presented by the Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort will return next year.

Winter is coming, and in Royal Oak, the timing is absolutely perfect.

Winter Blast will look different this year because it’s in a new city.

Winter Blast is returning in February 2022 with a new home, name and logo.
