The Red Wings now have signed the 19-year-old defenseman to a three-year entry-level contract this week. You can understand why Yzerman would grab him in the 3rd round.

In 44 career NHL games with Detroit and Toronto, he has four goals and five assists. It's just a mess of different/bad contracts, aging players, young players with unknown value, and players like Cholowski and Hronek who look like the future, but we still can't quite tell -- although Hronek dominated at the 2019 World Championships.
