Today, I’m pleased to announce that we'll no longer be charging cases related to marijuana or entheogenic plants (naturally occurring psychedelics). If Washtenaw County’s largest city’s resolution decriminalized the use, growth and possession of psychedelic plants, the Prosecutor’s Office sees no point in bringing charges forward elsewhere in the county. ANN ARBOR – For local student Nemo Tsai, 2020 was as normal a year as could be until a casting agent from Food Network reached out to him on Instagram to audition for Season 9 of “Kids Baking Championship.”Nemo’s family has owned Japanese-American fusion restaurant Godaiko and Tsai Grocery in southwest Ann Arbor for more than 25 years. Raised in the kitchen, Nemo was making sushi rolls before he was five years old, and recently took up baking after watching videos on YouTube. “This was the first season that parents get onto the show and react,” said Nemo. Aside from the title of Kids Baking Champion, the winner of the Kids Baking Championship will take home a grand prize of $25,000 and will get a spot in Food Network Magazine.

WESTLAND, Mich. Police are searching for a 100-year-old woman who went missing Monday afternoon in Westland. A missing endangered alert has been issued for Mae Baker. She was last seen about 1:30 p.m. Monday in the 28000 block of Currier Avenue in Westland. She is described as an African American woman standing about 5 feet 4 inches and weighing about 150 pounds. She was last seen wearing tan pants, a black and white short-sleeved shirt and black shoes.
