PONTIAC, Mich. – An armed man got inside a driver’s SUV at a stop sign in Pontiac, forced him to drive to another location to open a can of beer and then stole his vehicle, according to police. Oakland County deputies said a 48-year-old Pontiac man stoped at a sign sign at East Rundell Street and North Glenwood Avenue at 8:51 p.m. Monday (Feb. 22). When they arrived, the driver parked the Expedition and the armed man grabbed a can of beer, officials said. The armed man fled the scene in the vehicle, according to police. Officials said the armed man was in his 30s and about 5 feet, 8 inches tall with a thin build and dreadlock-style hair with blonde tips.

DETROIT – Police are looking for two men accused of stealing a woman’s vehicle at gunpoint on Detroit’s west side Friday night. Police say at about 11:40 p.m. on Feb. 12, a 27-year-old woman was near a gas pump at gas station in the 15300 block of Wyoming Avenue when an armed suspect exited an unknown vehicle and walked over to her. The suspect, described as a Black man wearing dark clothing and a black surgical mask, announced a hold up and took the woman’s cell phone. Officials say the man then entered the woman’s red 2011 Ford Taurus and drove away. The second suspect, who was only described as a man, also fled the scene in the other, unknown vehicle.

DETROIT – Two Detroit teenagers have been charged as adults with first-degree murder after an Uber driver was found in an alley with fatal injuries from a hammer and knife attack, officials said. Prosecutors said Devin McKee, 16, and Lanyah Brady, 15, order the Uber ride with every intention of robbing the driver. DETROIT – Two Detroit teenagers have been charged with first-degree murder after an Uber driver was found in an alley with fatal injuries from a hammer and knife attack, officials said. Devin Delon McKee, 16, and Lanyah Quan Brady, 15, both of Detroit, are accused of killing Timothy Marcus Perkins, a 60-year-old Uber driver from Southfield, according to authorities. Detroit investigators recovered Perkins’ stolen car and identified McKee and Brady as suspects in the case, police said. Officials accuse McKee and Brady of calling for an Uber driver for the purpose of robbing him. When they were inside Perkins’ car, McKee robbed and carjacked him by attacking him with a hammer and stabbing him with a knife, according to authorities.

ROSEVILLE, Mich. – A man whose van was stolen in a violent carjacking in Macomb County is speaking out about the incident. Derek Hill, 52, said he pulled over to help when he saw a woman stranded in a Roseville Del Taco parking lot on Tuesday. It was around 1:30 a.m. when Hill saw a car broken down on Gratiot Avenue at Masonic in Roseville. He said he motioned the person motioned for Hill to roll down his window and that’s when he was punched. Michael Masters of Masters Auto Sales in Roseville heard about the attack and gave Hill one of his vans.

DETROIT He saved and saved to buy a blue 2004 Ford F-150 Heritage pickup truck. The truck had more than 280,000 miles on it, but 71-year-old Robert didnt care. Standing on his one good leg he was able to maneuver into the truck and put his walker in the back. He grabbed me by the hair, snatched me out of the truck and threw me out on the ground, Robert said. TROY, Mich. – Two people are in police custody after allegedly hijacking a vehicle outside of Somerset Mall on Thursday morning. Police say at about 7:30 a.m. two males were approached by four people in a silver Nissan when exiting the mall. Two suspects took the victims’ 2016 black Dodge Charger and fled the scene while the other two suspects fled the scene in the Nissan. A black 2016 Dodge Charger was hijacked from two people at Somerset Mall on the morning of July 23, 2020. The two suspects from Tennessee are being housed at the Jackson County Jail and are expected to be arraigned soon.

DETROIT – Police are looking for three people wanted in connection to an carjacking early Sunday morning. According to authorities, it happened at about 3:30 a.m. at a gas station in the 11800 block of Conner Street. Police said a three people approached a 20-year-old man who was pumping gas and demanded his 2011 Dodge Charger at gunpoint. Police said one suspect entered the Dodge and drove south on Conner Street and the other two suspects followed in a 2017 silver Chevrolet Impala. One of the suspect entered the victim’s vehicle and fled south on Conner with the remaining two suspects following in a silver 2017 Chevy Impala.

According to authorities, just before 6 a.m., a 25-year-old man was physically assaulted by two unknown people at a gas station in the 8800 block of Livernois Avenue. Police describe one of the suspects as a Black man, 6 feet, 3 inches tall and weighing about 240 pounds. Police described the other suspect as a Black man, 6 feet tall and having a medium build. DETROIT Police are working to identify a suspect wanted in connection to a nonfatal shooting and carjacking that happened on Detroits west side. The suspect asked the victim to assist him with a boost for his vehicle and said that his vehicle was on Ferguson Street, according to police. Both the victim and suspect entered the victims White 2004 Express Van and drove to the 16700 block of Ferguson. The victim exited the vehicle and the suspect fled the scene in the victims van. DETROIT – A Detroit man has been charged in connection with an assault and kidnapping incident. Diamond Williams, 28, has been charged with kidnapping, carjacking, resisting and obstructing the police, and domestic violence assault and battery. William’s 27-year-old-girlfriend and her 5-year-old daughter are the victims in the case, both are from Detroit. Police said they received a domestic violence call near M-10 and 7 Mile Road in Detroit. Troopers located Williams and the child walking on Strathmoor Street and Grand River Avenue in Detroit.

DETROIT The Detroit Police Department is searching for a man wanted in connection with a carjacking that injured a mother and child on the citys west side. The mother carried her daughter to the passenger side to get some items out of her vehicle. The victims vehicle was recovered shortly after the incident in the 18000 block of Whitcomb in Detroit. Police say the suspect escaped in a dark colored Jeep Compass with damage to the front bumper on the passengers side. He is described as black and was last seen wearing a Detroit Tigers winter hat, gray and white Detroit Tigers varsity jacket, black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

DETROIT – A 72-year-old Detroit woman was beaten with a rock by a man who knew her from shoveling her snow, police said. Lacey knew the woman because he had shoveled her snow in the past, officials said. When officers arrived, they found a bloody scene and transported the woman to a nearby hospital for treatment. Lacey was charged Saturday with carjacking, assault with intent to murder, unlawful driving away of a motor vehicle, receiving and concealing a stolen motor vehicle and third-degree fleeing and eluding police. A probable cause conference is scheduled for Feb. 19, and a preliminary examination is scheduled for Feb. 26.

LIVONIA, Mich. – Two robbers have been arrested after they targeted a Livonia woman at gunpoint in her driveway, police said. The robbery happened around 1 p.m. Sunday in the 30800 block of Robert Drive in Livonia. Police said the 52-year-old woman was in the middle of unpacking her van in the driveway when the men approached. “He made me take off my coat and he searched and asked me if I had any money on me,” the woman said. One of the men was arrested by Livonia officers in Wyandotte.

The caller reported that a man stole a red Honda CRV from a woman along with her cellphone at the gas station and fled the scene. The clerk said a man was inside the store who said he had been assaulted by an unknown subject. Officers responded and discovered man was the suspect from the carjacking incident.
