As of Saturday morning, The Associated Press is projecting that Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden has won the 2020 presidential election after wining the state of Pennsylvania. Biden, resting at 264 electoral votes early Friday morning, was projected to win the state of Pennsylvania as of 11:25 a.m., according to The AP. With its 20 electoral votes up for grabs, Pennsylvania placed Biden at 284 electoral votes -- enough to call the race nearly four days after Election Day. The AP also projected that Biden won the state of Nevada on Saturday, bringing his electoral vote total to 290.

At the same time, the Detroit Fire Department shall place all apparatus on ramps with lights on in honor of Johnson. Johnson was a 26-year veteran of the Detroit Fire Departments Fire Engine 59 and a recipient of the 2017 Medal of Valor. Johnson died after rescuing young girls from drowning in the Detroit River at Belle Isle. Due to the pandemic, the celebration at Detroit Public Safety Headquarters will be invitation only, but the service will be live streamed.

Ellis Island Tea is a family affair that began with Ellis-Browns great grandfathers tea recipe. She said she wants to give her staff Juneteenth off every year. April Anderson said she wanted to use her platform to raise awareness about Juneteenth and help local nonprofits.
