The university will charge $7 more per credit hour. The 1.96 percent increase to tuition brings the current $358 credit hour to $365. Central Michigan said it usually adjusts tuition in July but decided to adjust and announce it in April to give students and prospective students time to plan. According to CMU, the earlier date also allows the university more time to put together financial aid packages.
