In an attempt to speak to the man, an officer approached Moss’ front porch and rang the doorbell. Moss reportedly appeared behind the door pointing a rifle at the officer while demanding to know why they were at his home.

Mickey Dane Douglas, of Detroit, has also been charged with assault with intent to murder, felon in possession of a firearm and five counts of felony firearm. The shooting took place around 11 p.m. on Sunday at A Eagles Coney Island on Dexter Avenue in Detroit. A 28-year-old Detroit man was also shot and injured on Sunday night. Police say they arrived on the scene to find one of the victims’ lifeless body in the parking lot.

According to authorities, the crew was flying near the Renaissance Center when they detected their aircraft was being targeted by a green laser. The crew temporarily ceased operations, contacted the Windsor Ontario Control Tower to report the incident and kept their cameras on the person who shined the laser until Windsor Police took the person into custody. The CBP is reminding residents that lasers present a very serious risk to aviator safety and while owning a laser pointer isnt illegal, shining it into a cockpit of an aircraft is a federal crime. According to the FAA, laser pointers can potentially damage sensitive equipment and flash blind a pilot.

Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy says the incident Friday, May 29 at 9 p.m. in the area of Griswold and West Fort streets in Detroit. It’s alleged John Antoine Holliman saw two uniformed Detroit police bicycle officers and drove directly at them, causing them to ride onto the sidewalk to escape harm. After a short chase he pulled into a gas station in the area of Central Avenue and West Vernor where he was arrested, police said. He was arraigned Monday evening in 36th District Court and received a $15,000/10% bond.
