Read full article: Georgia recount: Full by-hand count of presidential ballots, secretary of state saysThe Republican secretary of state in Georgia said Wednesday his state will conduct an audit of the 2020 presidential race as they plan to recount millions of ballots by hand. “We have all worked hard to bring fair and accurate counts to assure that the will of the voters is reflected in the final count," said Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger. of State Raffensperger says the state will conduct a “full, by hand recount in each county”; Biden currently leads by 14,111 votes. “We will work with the counties to get this (recount) done in time for our state certification,” said Raffensperger. He would become the first Democratic presidential candidate to win the Peach State since President Bill Clinton in 1992.

Former State Elections Director, Chris Thomas, was brought in to oversee counting in Detroit.

The county’s website has election results from its May election, the August and March primaries, and the November 2019 election. Between 1884 and 2016, Antrim County voters have selected Republican candidates in 32 of the 34 national elections. “The priority is to make sure every vote is counted correctly,” said Antrim County public information officer Jeremy Scott. The political reversal of Antrim County warrants a more thorough pair of eyes to see if there was a computer or human error in the count.

Census workers and households have until the end of October to get the form filled out. “That extends the door knocking,” said Victoria Kovari, from the city of Detroit census. “It extends the website response, the phone lines, etc.”In April, the Census Bureau announced operations would be extended until the end of October because of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. “Congress could still act to extend the time the Census Bureau has to deliver the population count beyond Dec. 31.

That rolled cases that should have been included in Saturday's total of 437 confirmed cases into Sunday's tally. Overall, the state has reported 78,019 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 6,149 deaths since the pandemic began. The death count was lower than Friday's count of 6,151 because state officials acknowledged corrections after reviewing information. Then on Saturday, 14 more deaths were reported, eight of which were discovered during a review of death certificates.
