An Eastpointe man has been charged in connection with the murder of a 30-year-old Detroit resident.

A 21-year-old man is accused of robbing a woman inside an Eastpointe motel room, police said.

Police have arrested two people -- a man in Texas and a woman in Kansas -- linked to a shooting that left a woman injured and a man dead at an Eastpointe apartment.

Police continue to search for the person who allegedly killed a 37-year-old Eastpointe man and injured his girlfriend.

Police have arrested a Detroit man who killed his friend during an argument, left the body in an abandoned car and then called authorities to say he acted in self defense, officials said.

EASTPOINTE, Mich. – A surveillance camera captured the chaotic moment when shots broke out in an Eastpointe neighborhood early Friday morning. One woman was sitting on her porch to have a cigarette before bed when the shots were fired. “I was just sitting there and I heard a car coming towards me and the shot started going. My heart was pounding for a good hour and a half afterwards.”The woman’s doorbell camera was recording as shots were fired between two cars driving through the quiet neighborhood. And when the second, third and fourth shot went off, that’s when I realized it was gunfire and how close it was,” she said.

EASTPOINTE, Mich. – Police are investigating a shooting in an Eastpointe neighborhood. The shooting happened shortly after 3 p.m. Wednesday on Rein Avenue near Toepfer Drive. EASTPOINTE, Mich. – A Roseville High School senior was shot and killed Wednesday with her 6-week-old daughter nearby. According to authorities, 17-year-old Kira Seymour was visiting her boyfriend in Eastpointe when she was shot in the chest. Police said several guns have been confiscated and that they sent information to the Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office. The Prosecutor’s Office will determine what charges he will face. Roseville High School will have counselors on staff to help students who may have been impacted.

EASTPOINTE, Mich. – A 17-year-old mother was found shot to death inside an Eastpointe home Wednesday. The shooting happened on Rein Avenue, north of Nine Mile Road. Police said the mother was visiting her boyfriend when shots were fired. Police are investigating the circumstance of the shooting, but one person of interest is in custody. EASTPOINTE, Mich. – Police are investigating a deadly shooting in Eastpointe. The shooting happened outside of a home on Linwood Avenue, near Gratiot Avenue. “At the beginning of the pandemic he got infected, died weeks later,” Iaquinta said. At 7:45 p.m. on Monday Iaquinta was on his porch and said he witnessed a vicious domestic argument between a 24-year-old man and a woman. A 24-year-old man standing on the porch was shot in the chest and died.
