We’ll get a few hour breaks later this afternoon into the early evening, and then the front will cross the area, with some showers and thunderstorms possible later in the evening. The warmer, more humid air mass behind the front will keep temperatures from dropping below the mid-60s (18 degrees Celsius) by dawn. East winds ahead of the front will shift to the south after it passes by, at 8 to 12 mph.

If you have any delicate Halloween decorations that will be easily damaged by this afternoon’s strong wind gusts, I suggest bringing them in as soon as possible. Partly cloudy, continued windy, and cold on Monday, with highs only in the mid to upper 40s (8 to 9 degrees Celsius). Highs Tuesday will warm into the mid 50s (12 degrees Celsius) on Election Day…so the weather is no excuse: Get to the polls and vote. Highs Wednesday through next Monday will be in the low-to-mid 60s (16 to 18 degrees Celsius)!
