In Michigan, here's what they picked:South Manitou Island - LelandIf there’s one island that comes packed with its very own creepy legends and haunting history, it’s South Manitou Island, 16 miles offshore from the Leelanau Peninsula. Featuring 300-foot sand dunes, deserted shoreline, and empty campgrounds, it’s about as terrestrially creepy as you can get in Michigan. Social distancing at restaurants means more space and empty chairs. One restaurant in Royal Oak is getting into the spirit by having guests dine with ghosts. Abiding by social distancing rules, guests will be seated 6 ft apart. There will also be ghosts at the empty tables to make the restaurant appear less empty and make it more fun.
