Pet insurance policies can range from $200 to $800 depending on the deductible, age, and breed of pet. Unlike human health insurance, pet health insurance typically only covers accidents, illnesses, and other unusual health events. You can buy health insurance for your pet at any age, but just like human health insurance, it’s going to be less expensive the younger the animal. That coverage is no longer required, but crash victims said it can be priceless on the road to recovery. “You have patients that come in requiring total assistance with simple tasks, like bathing, grooming, dressing, brushing their teeth,” Zein said.

DETROIT – Changes to auto insurance premiums in Michigan are coming on July 1. Drivers will now have a choice when it comes to coverage level and the Michigan Department of Insurance and Financial Services has launched a website to help consumers navigate the process. The website shows the various coverage levels, the paperwork and documentation required as well as the questions to ask your agent.
