Harris said she plans to discuss the fight for racial justice, the power of Black men voting in this election and more. Biden visited Detroit earlier this month, and his running mate, Sen. Kamala Harris, was in Flint on Tuesday and will later visit Detroit. Trump campaign officials said volunteers have been knocking on doors and doing other field activities across the state. Democratic state leaders said they learned hard lessons and that the party has worked to connect with Black voters.
