Today will be warm and humid with enough instability for afternoon showers and thunderstorms. Sunnier skies with lower humidity return most of next week. A sultry night is ahead for Detroit and all of Southeast Michigan. Weather behind a cold front will be calmer, afterward, with lower temperatures, but it remains warm. Sunday night will be partly cloudy, warm and muggy. After a cold front passes, Tuesday and Wednesday will be less humid and warm. Wednesday will be sunny, warm and comfortable with highs near 85 degrees.

Fathers Day ends tonight with warm and muggy conditions and showers. Sunday night will be mostly to partly cloudy with rain showers before midnight. After midnight, the weather weather moves on as temperatures fall to the middle and upper 60s. Scattered showers are possible, especially from late morning through the afternoon, with highs in the middle and upper 80s. Wednesday and Thursday will have some on and off rain showers with highs near 80 degrees.

After sunset, the weather becomes a bit calmer with showers and any storms diminishing. Scattered showers and storms return Monday through the middle of this week. Sunday evening will have scattered showers and thunderstorms with warm conditions. Scattered showers are possible with highs in the middle and upper 80s.
