Officers spoke with the ex-boyfriend on a family member’s cellphone and persuaded him to come outside without the pistol, according to police. The witness and victim met with two men and one woman who had driven to Thorpe Street to complete the transaction. The driver of the vehicle is described as an unknown White man who was wearing a green shirt and had sandy, blond, wavy hair. The front seat passenger is described as an unknown woman with black, curly hair. The back seat passenger was an unknown White man who is possibly 20 years old.

The Oakland County Narcotic Enforcement Team (NET) launched an investigation into a residence in the 30 block of Dakota Street -- and into an illegal underground rave club, which had been operating at 125 N. Saginaw in Pontiac. Two arctic foxes were also found being held in the backyard and turned over to Oakland County Animal Control. Police said information found at the Dakota Street residence led to them discovering the underground rave club on Saginaw Street. The business was known as the Uptown Music Club, and didnt have a business license to operate either. All three men have a pretrial conference scheduled at 50th District Court at 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 8.

The truck -- described as a full-size extended cab pickup truck -- fled westbound on W. Huron Road. Surveillance video of the truck can be seen in the video player above. The victim is listed in critical condition at McLaren Oakland with skull, rib, and leg fractures and may not survive.

PONTIAC, Mich. Deputies were sent to St. Joseph Hospital on Monday after receiving a report of a gunshot victim with wounds in his lower extremities. The victim told officials he was walking in the area of Sanford and Wall Street when a vehicle drove past him and stopped at the intersection. Officials said 114 felony arrests were also made between the two teams. The DPU teams target high-crime areas, according to officials. While these teams are small in numbers, the work and effort they put in to target the most violent criminals in the City of Pontiac is to be commended, said Sheriff Michael J. Bouchard. I applaud the Mayor and the Pontiac City Council for making the investment into a second team and clearly, the results speak for themselves.

Deputies with the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office were called to the Marathon Gas Station in the 500 block of N. Perry Street just after 11 p.m. about a fight. Collins then allegedly rammed the front door of the gas station with her car. She was allegedly driving a silver Kia slowly south on N. Perry Street. Deputies blocked the entrance with their vehicles, but Collins allegedly drove over the grass to get into the parking lot.
