Cellphone video of the Amazon driver being violently arrested by police as he was making a delivery went viral on social media. The driver was charged with resisting and obstructing a police officer, failure to obey a lawful command and failure to produce a drivers license. The recent physical take down of Mr. Jaylen Bond, an Amazon delivery service provider, by a member of the Warren Police Department, indicates the necessity for enhanced training, Rev. Dr. Wendell Anthony with the NAACP said.

MACOMB COUNTY, Mich. The Macomb County Prosecutors Office has denied charges in connection with an altercation between a Warren police officer, who is White, and an Amazon driver, who is Black. Cellphone video of the Amazon driver being violently arrested by police as he was making a delivery went viral on social media. The driver was charged with resisting and obstructing a police officer, failure to obey a lawful command and failure to produce a drivers license. We have an obligation not only to pursue appropriate criminal charges when necessary, but also employ discretion to not authorize criminal charges as certain circumstances demand, prosecutor Jean Cloud said. The prosecutors office was presented with the warrant requesting charges on Wednesday.

WARREN, Mich. Amondeuz Graham was on his way to get gardening supplies when he saw a confrontation between a Warren police officer and an Amazon driver. He stopped to record it, what his cellphone video shows is the middle of the confrontation, not what started it. On the video you see the White officer with the Amazon driver, who is Black, on the ground. The policy of the warren police department and the training provided to every officer is to deescalate every situation. Dwyer also confirms there is audio and video from the officers camera from start to finish of the confrontation.

WARREN, Mich. Police opened an Internal Affairs investigation after a confrontation between a white police officer and a black deliver driver. New dashcam video was released Wednesday by the Warren Police Department. Warren Police Commissioner William Dwyer is standing by his officers and is recommending felony charges for the delivery driver. Originally, it was thought the only thing that was done wrong was the Amazon vehicle being improperly parked, but Warren police said thats not the case. The driver was charged with resisting and obstructing a police officer, failure to obey a lawful command and failure to produce a drivers license.

WARREN, Mich. Newly released police dashcam video is shedding new light into the arrest of an Amazon delivery driver in Warren. The cellphone video of the Amazon driver being violently arrested by police as he was making a delivery went viral on social media, but Warren Police Commissioner Bill Dwyer said theres more going on. It's the video sparking outrage all over social media showing an amazon driver being manhandled by the cops after making a delivery. The officer had a legal reason to contact the driver as he was parked illegally, Dwyer said. Amazon released the following statement:
