(WDIV)DETROIT - More than half of all calls made to the Michigan Poison Center at Wayne State University concerning marijuana exposure through edibles like brownies, chocolate bars, candy and gummies involved children as young as 6 years old.
Since the beginning of the year, the Michigan Poison Center at WSU has received 420 calls related to marijuana exposure, 104 of them involving children under 18 years old.
They can have pretty scary and profound dramatic presentations, said King, who divides his time between the Michigan Poison Center and the emergency department.
The center also gets calls regarding adult exposure.
