DEARBORN, Mich. – The tanker fire Wednesday has shut down eastbound Interstate 94 indefinitely between the Addison/Ford Road and Greenfield Road exits.
MDOT says the eastbound lanes of I-94 will remain closed through the weekend. About 150 feet of the interstate will need to be repaved.

The Michigan State Police recommend motorists exit I-94 as early as they can and take alternate routes.
Possible detours, depending on your destination, include Michigan Ave., Dix Rd., and I-75.
