SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – A Michigan State Police patrol car was involved in a crash Wednesday on I-696 in Southfield, police said.
The trooper had pulled over to help another trooper working on a crash scene when a car rear-ended the patrol car, police said.
There were no injuries in the crash involving the patrol car.
Eastbound I-696 was closed at the Lodge Freeway due to the crash but has since reopened.
