ROMULUS, Mich. – The Michigan Department of Transportation announced the demolition of the Five Mile Road bridge over I-275 will cause freeway traffic to be down to one lane in each direction.
While the majority of the west end of the demolition has already been completed, the east end of the Five Mile bridge will be worked on and require I-275 to be reduced to one northbound and one southbound lane. Additionally, I-96 and M-14 will also be impacted.
