Ramps to close through at least Nov. 11

(WDIV)

Road repairs will close southbound I-75 ramps to both eastbound and westbound I-696 starting this week.

Southbound I-75 ramps to either direction of I-696 will close at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 21 for pavement and barrier wall repair, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT). Officials say the ramps are expected to reopen on Nov. 11, weather permitting.

Amid the closures, drivers will be detoured to the eastbound I-75 Business Loop at Square Lake Road, to southbound Woodward Avenue and back to I-696. Officials say southbound I-75 exit ramps to Big Beaver Road, 14 Mile Road and 12 Mile Road will remain open amid the repairs.
