A portion of I-94 will be shut down this weekend in Detroit for bridge demolition.
MDOT said both directions of I-94 between M-10 (Lodge Freeway) and M-3 (Gratiot Avenue) will close at 9 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 27. MDOT said the closure is necessary to allow crews to safely remove the Beaubien Street overpass and the Seminole Street pedestrian bridge over I-94.
