I-94 closing in Macomb County so DTE Energy can complete emergency work

MACOMB COUNTY, Mich. – A section of I-94 in Macomb County will be closing Sunday night through Monday morning so DTE Energy can complete emergency work.

Eastbound and westound I-94 will be closed between 21 Mile Road and 23 Mile Road starting at 8 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 17, 2023, through 5 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 18, 2023. Michigan State Police will be helping with the closure.

Drivers will be asked to detour by taking M-3/Gratiot Avenue between 21 Mile Road and 23 Mile Road. Drivers should expect heavy traffic and delays.
