GREEN OAK TOWNSHIP, Mich. – One person was killed and another was injured in a head-on crash in Green Oak Township.
The vehicles collided head-on at around 11:32 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, on Rushton Road north of 12 Mile Road in Green Oak Township.
Police said when first responders arrived, both drivers were pinned in their vehicles. The driver of a Chevrolet Malibu was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of a Chrysler Sebring was wearing a seatbelt. They were removed and taken to an area hospital to be treated for a leg injury. Nobody else was in either vehicle.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
