DETROIT – Part of Eastbound Davison Freeway was closed in Detroit on Monday due to flooding, affecting travelers heading onto I-75.
The EB Davison Freeway ramp to I-75 was closed as of 11:30 a.m. on Monday, May 27. The area was experiencing flooding, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation.
It wasn’t entirely clear what caused the flooding. The region did see some rainfall Monday morning.
The ramp to I-75 was closed, and the right shoulder on Davison (M-8) was also blocked off. Traffic appeared to be mildly disrupted on Davison Freeway around noon.
