Eastbound I-94 reopens after semi-truck crash in Dearborn

Drivers urged to find another route

DEARBORN, Mich. – A stretch of I-94 is back open after a crash involving several semi-trucks in Dearborn.

The fiery crash, which occurred at 2 p.m. Monday (Aug. 12) on Michigan Avenue, closed the eastbound lanes.

The Michigan Department of Transportation said the crash involved four semis, one of which caught fire, leaving debris all over the freeway.

There are no words yet to describe if anyone who was hurt.
