ST. CLAIR SHORES, Mich. – The side of a truck was sheared off and dressing spilled everywhere when a semi struck a bridge on I-94.
The crash happened Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 20, 2024, in the eastbound lanes of I-94 at 9 Mile Road in St. Clair Shores.
Aerial footage showed what’s left of a Penske truck on the right shoulder of the highway, surrounded by jugs of white dressing.
The passenger side of the trailer had been completely sheared off the truck. It was wrapped around the side of the overpass.
Various boxes and pieces of truck were scattered between the bridge and where the semi came to a stop, just about a hundred feet beyond.
The freeway opened to regular traffic at about 5 p.m.
