WAYNE COUNTY, Mich. – The driver of a three-wheel motorcycle was ejected and killed when his bike struck the wall of an I-94 ramp.
The crash happened around 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25, 2024, on the westbound I-94 Express ramp to Southfield Freeway.
Officials said a 73-year-old Detroit man was driving a three-wheel motorcycle and struck the left wall while entering the single-lane ramp.
He lost control, and the bike rolled, throwing the driver off.
The man was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police believe speed was a factor in the crash. The investigation continues.
