Lodge Freeway shut down for 2-car crash early Black Friday morning

DETROIT – The southbound lanes of the Lodge Freeway were shut down early on Black Friday due to a crash.

The closure was reported at 4:45 a.m. Friday, Nov. 29, 2024, by the Michigan Department of Transportation.

Officials said a crash involving two cars closed all of the southbound lanes at Grand River Avenue in Wayne County.
