EB I-96 reopens at US-23 after crash involving semitrucks

BRIGHTON, Mich. – The eastbound lanes of I-96 have reopened to traffic at US-23 after a crash involving multiple semitrucks Friday morning.

All eastbound lanes of I-96 were shutdown and traffic was at a standstill while crews worked to clear the debris. 

The eastbound lanes are open to traffic again. 

It is unknown if there are injuries or when the lanes will reopen.
