Frontier Airlines is launching a new nonstop service route from Detroit Metro Airport (DTW) this spring.
Frontier says it will launch new seasonal nonstop service from DTW to Luis Muñoz Marin International Airport in San Juan, Puerto Rico (SJU) on May 5, 2023. It’ll be the eighth nonstop service destination for Frontier out of Detroit.

“Puerto Rico is one of the most popular destinations in the Caribbean with its beautiful beaches, rainforest and historic sites and we’re thrilled to provide those in the greater Detroit area with the only nonstop service to San Juan this summer,” said Daniel Shurz, senior vice president of commercial, Frontier Airlines. “For those with family and friends on the island, our ‘Low Fares Done Right’ make it easy and convenient to connect with loved ones.”

Intro fares start at $69, but here’s the fine print: Fares must be purchased by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on Feb. 7, 2023. Fares are valid for nonstop travel on select days of week. Fares are valid May 4, 2023 through Jun. 28, 2023. The following blackout dates apply: May 26-29, 2023. Round trip purchase is not required.
