'Let Freedom Ring': MLK-Day event held at Fox Theater in Detroit

In Southfield, they held their annual peace walk Monday (Jan. 16) morning, originating from Hope United Methodist Church. The event returned after two years due to the pandemic. And on Detroit's west side, people gathered for a rally, a march, and a meal this afternoon at Saint Matthews-Saint Joseph Episcopal Church. Another Mlk-Day event has been going on downtown at the Fox Theater. Bringing out big names like University of Michigan football star Blake Corum and the Reverend Jesse Jackson.
