Wrong-way driver causes deadly crash on M-14

A wrong-way driver caused a fatal crash on eastbound M-14 at Gotfredson Road on the morning of Sept. 18. A 31-year-old man from Battle Creek, driving a Nissan Rogue, collided head-on with a Tesla driven by a 53-year-old man from Munith. The crash resulted in the deaths of the Nissan driver, his 27-year-old passenger, and the Tesla driver. The Tesla caught fire but was extinguished by the fire department; the involvement of alcohol or drugs is currently unknown.
