Plea deal delayed in $40M+ Detroit Riverfront Conservancy embezzlement case

William Smith, the former Chief Financial Officer of the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy, was expected to plead guilty to embezzling tens of millions of dollars but the plea deal fell through.
